9/16/2014 6:15am TP has been in a 6D for a couple months. He has had some nice things to say about the helmet. He is perhaps most uniquely qualified to appreciate helmet safety. The fact that he chose 6D speaks volumes. TP has a lot to protect these days and is very conscious of brain safety.....please save the funnies about his activities...

8/1/2014 3:48pm Hey Mike....I think you rode Great Lakes Grand Prix at Otsego both years correct ?? I believe there was 74 guys entered in 45+ class the 2nd year. Yep Michigan has some serious turnout for vet guys at the big races. Great fun !! Great spirit among the racers as well.

I say line up with only because somewhere during the 1st lap the "racing with" part ended. The great aspect of LL is the whole vibe throughout the week. I just don't think...

8/1/2014 7:13am I think the point isn't so much that spectators want to see 50+ year old guys race as much as it is that a strong group of 50+ year old guys still enjoy going racing. Is there anything wrong with that ?? Should the story end at 50 years old and you just have to sit and watch the world...
