I was bummed about no Gatorback either
they should at least split the CA ones in the beginning and end or make Unadilla the last one
Pit Row
As far as the driving goes, the people who really make the series have professional truck drivers and budget for time and fuel.
The rest well it's a bummer but nobody is forcing them to do every race.
How stupid is it to go from Minnesota to Washington than clear to New York and than back to Utah than all the way back to Indiana
Why not Minnesota New York Indiana Utah Washington, oh wait that makes to much sense.
This series is headed the way of the GP's and that is not a good thing.
There is more involved than just worrying about travel, many venues can only hold races during certain times and then there is other contractual obligations to be considered.
I know how mxsports operates and it is a dictatorship, so they can pretty much tell a track their race date and they can take it ot leave it.
I also know that yes there are some other considerations that come into play.
And I also know first hand what it costs our team to travel and gas is the most expensive item.
But to call it a dictatorship is absurd.
I guess by your logic that makes NASCAR, NFL, NBA and all sports run by a commissioner dictatorships?
It's actually just business. And that's just what MX Sports is, a for profit business.
You may not like the way DC does things, but at the end of the day he's the boss. Every business has to have a CEO.
And in my opinion, he's a very good one. He's taken MX to a new level and he cares about the sport.
Plus, he's willing to come on here and chat with all of us. Not many CEO's would ever do that.
DC isn't much of a spa guy but he orders up at least one mud race per year and uses that as the moto version of a mud bath/exfoliation.
The mud provides minerals and getting powerwashed by one of the mechanics after the race provides exfoliation.
