I think stock motors at a minimum... Look at the leading race series in the world, MotoGP. All, supersport riders race the exact same engines (modded cbr600rr motors) built by the same company. It creates an environment where the best rise to the top. The champions in that series consistently move on the be champions in the GP class racing the prototype bikes where factory teams go nuts with everything they can muster. They've even required the same on-board electronics in the 2019 GP class to level the field further... it creates some of the best racing to watch and...
