I think everyone is arguing slightly different points at this stage 😂 If we're talking strictly rookie 450 outdoor results — Hunter wins. Easily. 🥇 Hunter: 9 podiums in his first 10 🏁 Deegan: 6 podiums in his first 10 📊 Hunter's consistency was ridiculous. But the “therefore Deegan isn't really comparable / it's all American hype / he's Alessi 2.0” stuff is where it gets silly. 👶 Deegan is 20 and a rookie 🔥 He's currently 3rd in a 450 class with both Lawrences, Prado, Tomac, Webb, Hampshire, etc. 🤷♂️ You don't have to call it a rivalry yet...

With the nationals winding down, Deegan has established himself as a solid 450 contender. Yes, he came in with a lot of over- the-top gestures in high-school-pep-rally fashion, but has proven himself as a solid 3rd place in a hotly contested quasar level championship. Thumbs up man. Excellent Job! 👍

AMA embarrasses themselves yet again. Jett penalty should have been 1 position, if not 2. He clearly gained an advantage on the start straight. You have to ignore what happened in the first turn. Clearly not as egregious as Levi, but still an advantage.

What American...other than Deegs, can even keep Jett and Hunter in sight? NOBODY. I mean, not one other Yankee is even in the same time zone. Does he say things that make you upset? Probably. So what...get over it. That's who he is. I'd rather have a guy, who obviously wants to win BADLY, and yes he maybe shoots off his mouth but is consistently near the front, a helluva lot more than a nice quiet guy, who tries real hard rolling around in 15th place. The kid is entertaining as hell.
