5/9/2013 10:26am Oi! That looks just like mine. You have to rotate it along its long axis for everything to mate up right if you have an aftermarket pipe.

5/8/2013 8:51am Give me your address and I'll mail you mine to use until you find or fabricate one. I'm tearing my bike down to get ready for the season to start. You can use it if you want. Greg

ok, make your own clutch holder out of 2 friction disks and 1 drive disk. Drill 3 holes equidistant around the circumference of the disks and use little bolts and nuts to sandwich the drive disk between the 2 friction disks. That will lock the hub to the basket. 4/4/2013 2:21pm Shifter collar bushing goes on the end of the center pin over the drum shifter. If its kludged up bike won't shift. Don't have to remove clutch basket to fix it.

3/20/2013 11:43am My 86 had a pinhole in the rearward water passage. Up inside. It was allowing coolant into the gearbox. Had to use a little plastic spatula to poke jb weld in there. Then I used a hairdryer to help it run down into the passage. Gotta have the clutch cover off and keep manipulating it til it coats the walls...

3/12/2013 3:07pm I accidentally bought an 85 shock on eBay. It was listed as an 86. I have an 86. The shock clevis was larger than my 86 knuckle. About 5mm too wide. Maybe 85 knuckle uses a larger collar in the bearing.
