Thank you, this video made me think a lot, loading with the front should be fine as long as I turn a bit, or maybe I don't need to turn at all because the back is lowered at that point, I'm not sure if a ramp would help or not. With that said, pulling it out from the back is...

Hi, I've had several VWs vans and I'm delighted with them. I can't tell you about the Peugeot/Citroen, I don't know, but there are videos on YouTube of people who use them as motorcycle vans. https://youtu.be/OlY42xy25bI?si=bIAIPrTuFV1J61zk Cheers.

Hi, I'm planning to get a Van (Pegeout Expert 2019 Medium/Standard), I'll probably buy a Yamaha 250 4 strokes, the height is 129cm. The Van has 122cm in the entrance, then 139cm, do you think I'm gonna be able to load a bike there? The plan is to inclinate the bike when I load it in diagonal, then move forward...

How do you see the difference between these two instead? They are both C-frame, but the 2nd one is Hybrid, I think that the separation of the protection above the knee may or may not result in a better protection, because in the standard one, the knee cap protection is higher, so probably that serves at upper knee protection, which...

Hi, did anyone manage to get an income protection for Motocross? I mean an income protection for life, not just up to 10y or whatever amount, excluding also lump sum. (an income protection is a monthly salary until you get back to work with full capability, up to your retirement age, on top of that, it can also balance off...

Knee braces are too subjective to say which is best for an individual without trying them on to see how they conform to your knees and the rest of your upper and lower leg. Even if from the same manufacturer.

Big difference is the patella cup is integrated in the C-Frame versus a separate sleeve on the X-Frame. Also, on the C-Frame, there is no inner hinge like traditional braces. It's completely exposed. I have the C-Frames and love them for this. I find I have better feel on the bike because of it.

I tried a pair of Leatt, I think it was X frame. They were made well but didn’t feel I couldn’t keep them in place. Sent them back. Leatt makes good stuff.

I’ve tried a lot of knee braces over the years and once the C-Frame came out I’ve never looked back. Not having the hinge on the inside gives me a better feel and grip to the bike. They also have a knee brace pant which I use that keeps them in perfect place.

C Frame 100% for me. On my second set. Love the ability to grip the bike when wearing them compared to other knee braces.

Hi, I'm in the middle of choosing these 2 knee braces, but I can't see too much of a difference, which one is better? https://leatt.com/gb/product/knee-brace-x-frame-hybrid-21?selected-colo… https://leatt.com/gb/product/knee-brace-c-frame-pro-carbon-17?selected-… The carbon one says carbon in the title, and that's it, I don't see what carbon it is or if it is a composite in the description. The other one, which doesn't mention carbon...

I pay £320 on an old van.

On the van, depends on how you go about things. Set myself up for riding in the UK for not a whole lot. Old van(T5) cost about the same as a new bike and a new engine for it was dirt cheap. Mechanical makeover was also inexpensive if you can spanner. And there are cheaper vans but I know the T5 will last forever which means running costs will remain low for years. Also a nice people mover. Still a very affordable hobby when compared to road racing. Or even MTB these days.

Mate of mine's done a few of the Dave Thorpe days on Honda (of course) CRF 250 X or L or whatever they are, he rates them. Last one being last week, and the week before you could see them on the gram prepping fresh bikes from the crate, box fresh for sure. I think the Dunham's / LDR near Bristol do or did a similar Kawi thing, another mate did a Yamaha day over Wales and there's a KTM Enduro place real close to me. I rented a bike at Wildtracks near Cambridge as a kid (visiting family over...

For me in the UK, the cost of the van is well worth it as it reduces the chances of being followed back to the workshop and burgled later (which could happen at any time, but this reduces the risk) and having some cover for your tools etc when it pisses down. Driving with my bike in the back of the pickup or when I was 17 and had my CR125 on a towbar/bike rack, it was a constant concern. Main costs personally aren't so bad: 2 or 3 year old Austrian bike (generally, but got an older '17 125sx...

I was looking at newer vans too, as obviously for a trip that will take me off-road into some of the most remote parts of the Sahara and just all the road milage I needed something reliable and cheap to run. Newer vans come laden with emissions equipment which in my experience of 50k+ miles a year in new work vans always causes issues and is very expensive to fix. It's only the same as new diesel cars though so it's the same whichever way you go. I decided based on what the company I worked for paid buying and...
