So it seems like the plate sits right in the smooth part, stopping the bolt from backing out, but still allowing some play in the position of the bolt. Like I said, It seems very strange. Unless the bolt is actually not supposed to have the smooth part and is just worn out...

11/2/2012 11:42am That is not my bike, but my plate did look stripped like that also. So I ordered in a couple of those plates. I put the new one on, and same thing. The bolt still spins in the plate. The way the bolt is shaped, the plate will hold the screw from actually backing out, but it doesn't actually stop...

10/27/2012 6:59pm As far as tricks to applying, I've heard soapy water works good.
But a method to AVOID (my mistake), is using a heat gun to try and get a shrink wrap effect to get rid of wrinkles. Does not work as you would expect. Just burns the graphics. Oops.

10/20/2012 11:27pm I've never run folding levers before, I've always just bought cheapies, and when they break, replace them. I've been wanting some folding levers for awhile now.
My question is, can I just buy the folding levers from say ARC and put them in a stock perch? Or does it have to come as a whole setup with perch and folding...

10/2/2012 11:40am Did you check the power valve? When it gets all gunky the slide can stick open. This would explain the high rpm sputtering. And the lack of top end power.
The power valve should be cleaned out (with contact cleaner, or something of the like) every time a top end is done. I don't know the maintenance history on the...

10/1/2012 12:59pm I have had similar symptoms with a sticky power valve. Could just need a good cleaning.
Of course, it could be something else.

I saw some kid at the track a few months ago wearing some Red Bull gear, and thought he must have just snaked it somewhere as a knock off pair. But then I spotted it at a local shop. Aren't graphics companies not even allowed...
