Folding Lever Question

Edited Date/Time 10/20/2012 11:27pm
I've never run folding levers before, I've always just bought cheapies, and when they break, replace them. I've been wanting some folding levers for awhile now.

My question is, can I just buy the folding levers from say ARC and put them in a stock perch? Or does it have to come as a whole setup with perch and folding lever?

I ride a KTM 150 be the way. With the Magura hyrdo clutch, and Brembo brakes.

I think ARC still makes a lever that goes into the stock perch. Sunline does for sure. ASV makes a different kind of lever, but I think theirs can also fit into a stock perch.
In any case, your bike requires a stock perch unless they manufacture a master cylinder as well; my guess is that any aftermarket lever you can buy will fit into your stock perches.

You can get the folding ARC levers to go in the stock perch. If by chance you want orange levers, you can go through the KTM Hard Parts catalog (they use ARC). Just be careful when you're ordering that you get the clutch lever for the Magura instead of the Brembo so it'll fit correctly.

The ARC brake lever fit with my mastercylinder. Dont have the clutch side since I use the works connection setup.

But I have crashed and it worked like it should. Money well spent. I havne tried any of the other brands of folding levers though.
