My name's Seth, I'm 22 and I've been riding for about 8 years now. I mainly ride woods here in KY, and when I race it's ussually an XC race, though I've been known to get out on the track every now and then. I love riding; there is nothing more expressive and theraputic in the world. Been riding for my team of local riders here called Dirt And Die Racing for about 4 years now, and we're pretty close knit.

Really glad Cooper got that ride, he rode his ass off this year, although I must admit I'll miss hearing Emig and Ralph saying "The priavteer is passing the factory boys!"

I would definatley say that gas prices are the number 1 reason for the decline in attendance. I haven't run a GNCC in a while, so I don't know first hand how much the entry fees have gone up, but I'd say they still back a back-seat to the problems at the pump.

Yeah...speaking of those facts...where are they? I mean I heard you say some things, but you provide no evidence. "...the amatuer crowd that are racing the 250F's against the 250T's are having great success as well." Umm.....example please? And I will give you this, I'm sure a Novice rider WOULD be faster on a 250F, because there is simply less...

You're telling me that if two riders of equal skill, ability, fitness, and drive went to the same track and threw down, one on a 250F and one on a 250 2 stroke, that the rider on the 4-stroke would have faster lap times?. What fucking planet are you from?

This would be SOOO sick. Hill would have my eternal respect. And hey, to the guy who said "2 strokes are gone for a reason", your right, and that reason is because the manufacturers and the environmentalists wanted them to be! PS: Two strokes are alive and well....one even lives in my shop!

This is what I have been worried about as well. When JGRMX came on the scene, I was really worried about SX and MX becoming a two-wheeled NASCAR, with more and more corporate sponsors that don't give two shits about the sport. Now it looks like we might have even more to worry about....look for Elephant-cross in the near future...
