I just had a 26 on the dyno, jetting out of the crate was MJ178s PJ 65 N3EW NEEDLE 2ND CLIP FROM THE TOP

8/14/2025 11:14am Thanks! I felt it mostly in the mid / mid to upper transition... maybe the added fuel just gets you into the upper RPM's a tad quicker and that's what I felt.

Just got done with 3 moto’s at the track and the engine runs clean from bottom to top with the 2026 YZ125 jetting spec. I have no complaints! Hard to say if this is the best jetting spec I have tested, but I can say it feels equal to the best setting I have tested. I did not make any adjustments all day, just ran it as it’s listed in the manual. Air temperature was 80 to 90 degrees. If you are considering a 2026 YZ125 I would be excited that they have the jetting sorted and you shouldn’t have...

Only took me 2 years to figure out! The last change I made since it was lacking a little in the upper RPM's was putting in the GYTR power jet (70)...

8/5/2025 9:09am I'm very curious to see what the '26 YZ125 will be running for jetting as well. Also curious how the revised intake will be... I want to get one but not going through the jetting nightmare again if it isn't fixed. Looking forward to a review once someone gets ahold of one..

I do have correct cable holder without spring. Sticking problem exists even without needle or cable attached when I compared oem vs new slide by just dropping them in without needle

Managed to get KTM 5.5 slide, judging from the package, maybe 20year old. It seems to be sligthly bigger than Yamaha slide? It judders and sticks a bit in the carb body. Has anybody have similar experiences and what have been the actions? Or did I purchase 140Eur piece of trash..

That is the exact set up I have on my 2011. The R304 really woke up the bottom and mid, but does sign off a little early.

4/10/2025 7:38am I just could not get it to run correctly with the APEX head, like incredibly bad. With their jetting specs it literally is unrideable but I know others have had good luck with them. I can revisit the head after I try Digger's jetting specs.

YZ125”X” jetting update below: Since racing season is over, I decided to do more testing with my 2024 YZ125X and see if I could improve on the JD Jetting spec. Long story short, thanks to a lot of help from Digger, I arrived at a jetting spec that is no doubt better than the JD Jetting and anything else I have tried.
