How about owning "The Technique of Motocross" by Ake Jonsson? Attending a Rolf Tibblin school? On a YZ100C? Had to fix flats with two flat screwdrivers and ended up with 5 patches on a new tube.
Someone please add Cycle World in St. Peters, MO. to the abandoned motocross track list please. Also some pictures if anyone can pull some up. I use to practice on that track about 3 or 4 years after it closed. Many great riders raced there in the mid to late 70's!! Riders such as Pierre Karsmakers; Steve Stackable, Gary Semics...
I went in 1979!! First and ONLY time I ran a 45 minute Moto. I was on a 1978 Kawasaki KX80 and had to run against everyone!! 80's; 125's, 250's and a few 500's...
