11/1/2009 7:19pm Pirelli's cost too much. I picked Maxxis because I see alot at the track and every trail rider I spoke to has nothings but good things to say about them.

11/1/2009 7:14pm Highsider, Someone has to give Maxxis a good name. Damn, all I have heard about Maxxis is great tires...but a real bitch to mount. This is a discussion board so I decided to let everyone know Maxxis tires are not difficultto mount at all! However, I am a Mechanical Engineer and that makes me superior to most drones of society...

11/1/2009 7:04pm As a Mechanical Engineer I would expect you could handle the challenge. Those Maxxis tires did not give me any trouble then went on very easily. I have no idea why so many have trouble.

11/1/2009 7:02pm Guys this is secretsize... Yes my username gets deleted everyday for some reason. I changed over to maxxis tires today and it was a breeze! I bought three motion pro straight tire irons and that did the trick.
