RCF Added a reply to OT- KTM 50 jr vs SX for my little girl

9/12/2017 5:09am
Since she's 8 already and you guys want to race don't waste your money on a 50 , she's almost aged out. just get her a 65 then you have no headaches you can put a rekluse until she learns how to use the clutch. I would see this a lot where dealership we'll talk you into buying the wrong...

I would just try and go up on size on the main from me and maybe move the needle up one click and start there , we're at Unadilla today that's 1500 ft we're running a 42 pilot with the 172 Main bike sounds good. We pretty much used to same Jetting all the way down to sea level.

The 300 250 use the same jetting at 4,000 ft you have to be running really lean with that jetting , we race Snowshoe this year in West Virginia that was 5,000 ft and the bike ran like crap with the 42 pilot and a 170 Main same needle third position. Was way too lean
Necj is leaner than the stock KTM needles we run a 40 or 42 pilot with that needle third clip. We ride at Field of Dreams in Jersey a lot which is at sea level bike runs great. If you like to scream the bike I go even a little higher to a 172 on the main. That needle makes...

RCF Added a reply to $90 for 2 laps Escore transponders.

9/7/2017 4:35am
Cheap transponders already exist we use them at local races here ,it's just a sticker that goes on your helmet and they usually last Life of your helmet they're $5.00 As far as your nerve damage the feeling will come back after a few months, been through this a few times.
OEM have problems from time to time too I think it was 2009 KTM had a bunch of bad cranks the good thing was they would replace everything, the bad thing was it took 2 months to get everything fixed . at the time we only had one bike it kind of wrecked or whole season. At least from the...
I put a few of these in for people who are Trail Riders they never had problems, so I decided to put one in my kids practice bike the Oem one wasn't bad just had a lot of hours on it, the main bearings only lasted 5 hours I end up pulling everything back out, put the OEM crank back...

The above post is kind of funny my son is AA/PRO we have three sets of these wheels and they've been put through torturous situations never had a set fail. We've had spokes break but nothing more then KTM stock wheels just part of your bike inspection you have a Broken Spoke you change it. Ran more than once on...

RCF Added a reply to 2 x YZ125 with blown head gaskets

8/28/2017 5:58am
You didn't post what type of fuel you are using, with the crappy pump gases we have today excessive ethanol can make your engine knock , which will destroy your head gasket.
