5/20/2020 1:50am That’s not true at all on a critical fastener like a head bolt, you better follow the correct tightening procedure or you’ll risk a fatigue failure over time due to cyclical loading. OP, the reason they specify in degrees is because they want a specific tension, or pre-stress, in that head bolt at all times. I’m assuming there is probably a necked down portion of the bolt that begins to taper up toward the threads and bolt head, this section is a specific diameter that is held to a tight tolerance. Because the thread pitch is known, and any slack...

5/19/2020 6:47pm They've been running the same torque spec Sense 2001 the engine changes weren't that drastic , I don't understand them changing it . maybe somebody will come along and let me know what the 50° degrees equates to in foot pounds

5/19/2020 6:13pm Do you think it'd be okay to back off to the second torque or do you feel the gaskets would be ruined bike hasn't been started or fluid put back in it.

5/19/2020 5:59pm No they don't require the studs to be replaced.. I'm going to call KTM Tech hopefully somebody's there to see if the 35 lb is okay, not sure why they changed it.

5/19/2020 5:34pm I never even heard of that I just looked it up, this is for KTM 350 they are always 35 foot pounds I was doing a rebuild on a 2018 decided to check the torque spec just in case something change. I hope I didn't screw up $150 worth of gaskets since they're only one time use.

5/4/2020 7:16am The only service i really want from a dealer is agressive pricing and no bs sale tactics like 1500 in extra fees on top of the listed price. Other people's needs vary. But thats literally all im after.

4/30/2020 5:54pm From Hartford Police, Connecticut "Twenty-seven (27) years ago this man had his 1990 Kawasaki KX125 dirt bike stolen from Waterbury. Today, HPD notified him that we had located it tearing through Bushnell Park. Reunited after 27 years. This dirt-bike was seized when an officer observed the operator riding it through Bushnell Park. The VIN number, engine number and transmission numbers if applicable are run through NCIC and NICB. This is a typical process, especially when VINs are scratched off. We can still identify them through NICB manufacturer records. Thankfully in this case, the NICB maintained owner records, and we traced...

4/29/2020 5:37pm The Beta 4t's have plenty of good results for years in several series if you care to look. Far more experience than Sherco in this area. Thorn Devlin is now on the Factory Team. GNCC (The missing link in XC1, someone like Baylor could fix that) Sprint Enduro (Ashburn almost took the series in 2018) National Hare and Hounds (Currently hold 2nd and 3rd, Wasson 2nd last year) West Hare Scrambles (Gerston current 2 time Champ, Roberts 250 Champ) East Hare Scrambles (Kyle McDonal current Champ, Rachel Gutich Women's champ)
