interesting. i wonder how the riding population would break down if this were a poll. i guess my stance fits my riding preferences. i like fast tracks and ruts are not my strong suit.

I never understood the "easy to ride" thing. kinda seems like buying a corvette with an automatic tranny in it. I want to shift gears. I want to have to work the clutch. Restore your manhood...buy a 2 stroke.

2086! I like the 150-175 and 300ish cc idea the best. seems at that size the two stroke would be about on par with the four strokes. Try to make it even and let the public sort it out.

I said on a thread last week that the sound issue of the 4-strokes is a way bigger problem for our sport than the emissions of the smokers ever were. this is just another example of that point. I think we need to fix that problem instead of just being mad at neighbors that don't want their right to peace...

if memory serves the YZ was MXA's shootout winner 4 or 5 years in a row, from like 97 on. i had a 96 yz 125 and it was the best bike i ever owned. so if i were making the choice i would go with the yamy.

I don't think that we need to buy brand new bikes for the OEMs to take notice. Selling a 4-st and buying a 2-st will affect their bottom line. Between not buying a new 4-stroke, not having to buy anymore overpriced 4-stroke parts and a growing number of 2- strokes at the track, i think that the OEMs will catch...
