5/6/2021 10:58am You can probably do that. Keep in mind you will continue to lose oil out the seal, so any amount you put in won't last long. Be careful not to over fill. Your best bet is to loosen the top clamp, then unscrew the cap at the top. There is a fork spring and probably a spring seat pushing against the cap, so be careful. With the cap removed, you can remove the fork from the bike and then collapse the fork (like it is bottomed out,) and add the fork oil. You want the fork collapsed so you cannot...

5/6/2021 9:35am I was wondering if its possible to refill the forks on my 73 TS185. The fork seal is blown, and I just don't have the cash to get it rebuilt right now. I also don't have the tools to tear apart the suspension, so that's off the docket.

3/9/2021 5:33am I bought a clutch cable on Ebay that said it fit a 1973 TS185. It won't go through the hole, I've tried both ends, its the right length, but it just won't fit. I feel as though I may be just doing I wrong, but I don't know.

2/28/2021 11:30am I have this bike that my grandfather bought brand new. Two years ago I bought it off of him, and set out on a journey to make her run again, and as of two days ago it hadn't run in 16 years. It took about ten minutes once I fixed the seal to get her going again. My happiness was...

quitethe2stroke Started a new thread 73 TS185 two stroke oil
5/24/2020 8:33pm I have TS185 that ran away when I had regular two stroke oil on it. I fixed the problem and accidentally put synthetic two stroke oil in it, and I miss the smoke that the regular stuff gave off. I didn't know if I should change it back, and if so how to do that safely. Sorry for any grammar...

5/24/2020 8:29pm IF the original switch and wiring is intact, it might make more sense to just get a replacement key. I have used this place with success. https://www.cyclekeysonline.com/

5/7/2020 6:21am I have an old suzuki, and it is running. The problem is, it doesn't have a kill switch and I lost the key. This means getting a kill switch useless. I need a workaround until I can get a kill switch. Any ideas help, and thank you in advance. Edit: Its a two stroke if that helps

4/28/2020 6:03pm Hey, I've been working on an old Suzuki for quite a while now, and if you helped me out before, you know I got it the sputter a little. Now I'm after a service manual PDF somewhere online, I have had no luck searching by myself, so I came back here. I've had a lot of luck here, so I'm...

3/18/2020 6:18am It's the most beautiful sound I've ever heard. She started up and died twice, and then ran almost perfect. Idling is a little rough, but she runs great. If anyone wants to see the video it's on my instagram @justnjp21

3/17/2020 11:59am Get a clymer manual. It will help you with working on the bike. eBay should have one used for under $30

3/17/2020 11:37am She started, and ran perfectly. Only problem is she leaks a lot, I assume the seals are crap. I'm gonna take the carb apart, and figure it out though, if there is a way to put a video on the page I will put it up. Thank you all for your help.
