poopbutt444 Added a reply to Any one have experience with MX Tech Lucky vs Lucky Carbon?
6/14/2021 11:43am I agree. I think I am going to go up to the .50 springs. Question: When swapping them out do I need to worry about preload or oil loss? Or will I be fine just pulling them out and dropping the new ones in?

poopbutt444 Added a reply to Any one have experience with MX Tech Lucky vs Lucky Carbon?
6/14/2021 9:32am I have been running the Lucky Carbons on my 19 350 sxf since august 2020. When I first got them I was pretty dissapointed as they were just way too soft for me, the bottoming was not too big an issue as the huck valves are incredible, but the headshake when coming hard into braking bumps was not fun, so...

12/25/2020 11:46am I highly recommend the carbons/gen 2. If you are worried about them being to stiff, dont. I actually sent mine back to have them valved stiffer. They adjust very well with clickers and you can definitely feel the clicks. Get Jeremy on the line at mxtech and tell him what you're looking for and he will get you all setup...

6/10/2020 1:27pm Just ordered a set of MXTech Lucky Carbons (Gen 2) for my 19 350sxf. Has anyone here had this and kept the stock shock valving? Just wondering if I need the complete package or if the stock shock will suffice. Not opposed to doing it. I just here that the stock shock is already pretty good on these bikes. Just...

5/19/2020 2:46pm Ya I'm gonna go back to stock pressure and just go out on the clickers. Do most people slow the rebound down on the fork also? Seems to be a little fast.

5/18/2020 8:22pm I wanted to start this thread as there seems to be quite a lot of conflicting information on how to setup these forks in stock trim. I definitely notice that they are not the same as previous years and air pressure recommendations are all over the place. Mid valve harshness seems to be the biggest complaint, which I definitely feel...

poopbutt444 Added a reply to Ktm fork part number??
4/1/2020 12:19pm Well thanks for the info! I will see what I can do with them. Been riding on them for about 10 hrs now and they seem pretty decent, just been getting a little bit of headshake lately. Either way they are a much better than my 4cs forks

4/1/2020 11:51am Ahh thats good to know! Just curious if I can run them for MX without a revalve. I am assuming they are SXF not XCF forks. I hope. The only thing I have noticed is quite a bit of stiction/ slow rebound. Any thoughts on that?

4/1/2020 11:33am I ordered these aer 48 forks online off ebay. I was told they were off of a 2016 250sxf factory edition, but the part number on the bottom of the forks has me thinking otherwise... Just wanna know what they are off of, and I cant find the part number anywhere on the internet. They were brand new when I...

poopbutt444 Started a new thread Front brake locked up
9/8/2017 3:11pm The other day I landed a 90 foot table and started swapping really hard and crashed. I had hit this fine all day long and cannot figure out what had happened. After I crashed I noticed my front brake was locked up, but as soon as I started going again in broke free and was fine. Is it possible that...

9/7/2017 10:32am Well I guess I'm going to have someone else take a look at it this weekend. The question I still have is how could a front brake lock up in a crash?? It doesn't seem possible unless the brake lever pushe'd the reservoir piston all the way in and it got stuck. Which was not the case. The lever wasn't...

9/6/2017 6:03pm So I took the caliper off and everything seemed fine as did the brake line. One thing I was curious about is I have my lever tilted down quite a bit and with the ktm lever it makes the reservoir not level with the ground. Could that cause an issue? I lubed up the slide pins on the calipers and...

9/6/2017 10:52am I dont think the rotor is bent enough to cause any sort of issue. You can just slightly hear it rubbing on the pads when spinning. Isnt it supposed to rub on the pads a little bit? Also I was having issues before this with the front brake lever becoming stiff after a hard landing. Is that part of this?

8/31/2017 10:04am A kink in the line sounds more like it. I will check when I get home. I think it may be kinking by the reservoir when full travel is being used. Anyone ever have this problem before? My bike is pretty new and I would think this wouldn't be a problem...
poopbutt444 Started a new thread Front brake stiffness
8/30/2017 8:33pm Everytime I land hard from a jump my front brake gets super stiff and hard to pull in. It still brakes okay and gets the job done, but its kind of scary. Its becoming annoying as you never know how it is going to feel each time. By the way its a 2016 ktm 350sxf. And yes I have the...

poopbutt444 Started a new thread 2016 ktm 350sxf fork oil level
8/2/2017 5:54pm I am trying to raise the oil level on my 2016 350 sxf 4cs forks. I am just confused as to what the stock oil level should be. I called race tech and they said 70mm, but when i measured it I got 80mm. I have watched many videos and felt comfortable doing it. I am wondering if it had...
