Pondo1664 Started a new thread Give us our Des back
1/23/2012 9:26am There's a thread on a forum in the UK with a petition to return the Motocross Of Nations back to the original title of Motocross Des Nations. Be interesting to see how much interest there is... The petition - http://petitionthem.com/default.asp?sect=detail&pet=4271 With big thanks to Fraser for getting the whole thing going....

Pondo1664 Added a reply to DC's 2-stroke answer...
10/16/2009 5:03pm That's a painful crock of shit. If it was that simple, the double displacement thing would work perfectly, but such has not been the case. A two stroke might fire twice as often as a four stroke, but per stroke it makes less than half the power. That's the simple version...

9/30/2009 4:01pm MX1 class Everts went 1-1 Stewart went 2-2 That's how I say he didn't win. Because, err... He didn't. His TEAM did, but he didn't. Some bloke called Everts beat him. You can look the results up and everything. Good night, by the way - it's late here, more tomorrw.

9/30/2009 3:40pm No, it's not irrelevant at all - the whole point of this post is to show how Stefan beat Stewart at the '06 des Nations. It's is absolutely and utterly as relevant as Ricky beating Everts at the des Nats in '03 - you can't have one without the other. Let's have a look at race times - race one...

9/30/2009 2:58pm I don't give a f*** who sponsors it, they still have the name wrong. It became the "of" before Red Bull came onboard.

I know, I'm probably the only one that feels this way, and that's okay. The Motocross Des nations is and - will be ALWAYS be - HUGE - but sometimes you have to stand up...

There's some right crap on TV over here that I wouldn't cross the road to watch. Live TV is a great thing, but it seems a bit of a dubious connection...

6/25/2009 5:35pm Well, it's pretty sad - guy knew how to lay some tunes in his earlier years.

6/25/2009 3:21pm No offence, but that's not exactly the same as a press release from the coroner's office. We'll know either way in a few hours.

6/25/2009 3:18pm LA Times says he's in a coma - no point speculating I suppose, guess we'll know either way in a few hours. It's pretty sad, but I guess that's kind of the story of his life...

9/24/2008 11:52pm Excuse, excuse, blah blah blah. No excuses, I just think the USA will be the quickest by fay - only way they won't win is if they have terrible luck AND another team rides out of it's skin. I don't see what that's an excuse for...

9/24/2008 3:56pm Most likely because there were about ten thousand people beseiging the Americans all weekend... I went to Weston the year Travis went, Stefan was the one running aorund with his rock star shades on and cap over his eyes, whilst Travis wandered through the crowds shaking hands with anyone who recognised him. In my limited experience, American sports stars have...

9/24/2008 3:52pm You set up for the weekend already?!?!?
Fair play, should love to have a look round while it's nice and quiet. Glad to hear they've moved some of the fences closer, at least. I heard a rumour that they've got rid of the whoops at the bottom of the track, by the Brit pits - how does it look...
