About 25 years ago i promoted a beach race on virginia beach. I got help from the tourism board that was trying to get people there in the off season. It was interesting. The beach was maintained with dredged sand moved in by the army corp of engineers. It took massive amounts of water to keep it rideable. Did pretty good the first year. The second year had a nor' easter come through thursday night before the event and the lost 70' of the beach which really squeezed the track. I had never been around the ocean much and did...

Premixed with fork oil instead of engine oil. It ran for the whole moto but seized two turns from the finish. What was the worst part? I was in the lead..

What's laughable is that you're actually sticking up for such a poorly run series. A series where the priority is to pocket as much money as possible while paying out as little as possible with the ultra-limited number of riders who are even able to participate (riders who are on the teams that pay to race). Another laughable aspect is what Herlings and other riders have brought up...the fly away races to odd countries that have absolute crap tracks to race on.

Ill get a pic with the bike in the back soon. 6.5 foot bed in my 24 5.0 F-150 regular cab. its the perfect truck for solo track days. No loading ramp, No problem. Definitely my favorite truck.
