Thanks , I got a cylinder from someone who does know what year it is.He was told it was for a 1976 but It doesn't fit his bike, looks more like a '77 or '78,

In my manual it says to line up the mark on the stator in the center of the .screw for a quick reference if you don't have the Suzuki tool dial gauge. The '76 RM125A engine has a 8 degrees BTDC if you have a dial indicator or use the method with mark ... more »

Hello, I set my stator plate mark to the center of the screw in the case. I believe that is a good starting point as my manual says.my manual cover the RM models but I don't see a # for degrees for the '77. I see on the '76 125cc engine they give 8 degree

My basket looks good! When I have the basket in my hand , the bearing does feel loose. The tangs look decent , not all notched out. Hope the new bearing fits tighter.

I didn't like my clutch basket bearing so I ordered a new bearing and thrust washers! My basket looks good.... Love the bike and hope to ride it again

Everything looked good with the crankshaft when I installed new bearings and seals. The bike started easy after a rebuild. I put about 2 easy hours on the bike riding at a track. Every now and than running her like it is suppose to be run. Than for about ... more »

I plan on tearing my engine down to see what is going on. I was riding my bike for about 25 minutes at a track and all of a sudden it felt like the engine was going to seize up so I slowed down and in about 20 seconds ran good again. My jetting in the ... more »

Thanks WRH ! any idea though could the bearing have come from a street bike or would it have been a dirt bike of that era??? I think I will go the way of getting a larger bearing and getting the case machined.
