Carmichael incorrectly came up with some theory that shock fluid was leaking onto the exhaust pipe (not possible with that pipe and his shock wouldnt work at that point). Eventually they asked the team and said he fried the clutch. Basically you can wear down the fiber plates until you basically have metal to metal grabbing in the clutch. This will smoke but the bike will go on for a while with a burnt clutch

Coming off injury, dealing with setup issues, and last night a smoking bike, still lands in second place at DAYTONA. Did you guys see how gnarly that track was? All 3 of those podium finishers are absolute beasts
You're joking right? He just waxed 20 of the best riders in the world. He's getting better every week. He's exactly where he belongs. Still one of the best riders in the world. Even if you try to claim different. Every team manager would love to have him on their team. TM

Looks like they wanted a minefield instead of a rhythm section. Terrible job by the track crew for never making that rhythm section jumpable enough and the whoops were ass all day. Track maintenance was shit.

2/29/2024 9:44pm One specific photo comes to mind but I cannot find it! It was a Tedesco poster from 2003ish, at one of the nationals. He’s kissing the front fender squeezing every last bit of pop out of his Kawasaki 250. this poster hung on my best friends garage wall for 15+ years of my childhood and was my introduction to motocross.

Craig needs his star clause in his husky contract where if he pulls off or gives up he’s booted. Guy has so much talent but the excuses come very quick
