RCS 5.1 ti spring is 2lb4.4oz, stock 5.2 is 3lb4oz Expensive but cost effective by titanium standards. Ti front axle is only 3oz lighter than stock.

I did my 2001 YZ250F up with all of the titanium, magnesium and carbon fiber I could find at the time. Also removed any parts that I thought were not necessary. Off came any caliper guards with their mounting bosses, countershaft guards, decompression lever when the 03 cam came available, all of the external oil lines and neutral wiring with the addition of Dr. D's wet sump conversion and the fork guard guides with the use of DSP's full wrap carbon fork guards. Also went with routing the front brake line Honda style removing about a foot of brake line...

Ti springs offer good bang for your buck. Most guys could lose a few lbs. around their waist a lot cheaper than Ti hardware.

I concur completely. I live near johhson city and it sucks. People exhibit obvious signs of mental illness by constantly waving and offering assistance if you appear to have a problem.
