3/22/2025 11:10pm Likely that the float needle valve needs to be replaced. Since it’s just been sitting and leaking over time it’s probably just not sealing good. Generally with a stuck float it would just be pouring out

Cr125's from 01 on are notorious for being finicky ass hell to jet. Ive had 2 and if I had it jetted perfectly at 9am it was way off by 12pm, off slightly again the evening 2nd motos. If it was a night race, once race order is posted i could plan my jetting. If it was practice and I was one of the first half of 1st motos I was goodish and could rejet for the night motos. If I was a later 1st moto I would put my night jetting in and roll with it after practice. My...

This might be pretty normal, 2 strokes don't like to sit at idle. I would open up the carb and verify current jetting/needle as well as check the float height before leaning it out. Are you getting splooge out of the silencer after a ride?

Right now the jetting and I’m assuming the needle are stock, pilot 32.5 main 400, air screw 3 turns out and needle in the middle clip, mixed 32 to 1. They are fine. Use them plenty and never an issue. I was hesitant at first but zero regrets.

Yes and No, it will find a leak around the reed block or the top of the intake tract, but not the bottom between the in take tract and gearbox, which is a common leakage area for case reed bikes...

You may still have an air leak, the only way to know you don't have an air leak is a pressure test. I'd go down a pilot jet size.
