10/20/2026 3:16pm The Biltwell is across the Mojave Desert near Ridgecrest, CA. I had about 30% of my battery charge left at the finish. But, that was on the 2022 e-Freeride with 3.9 KwH. The new 2027 e-Freeride I picked up today has a 5.5 KwH battery. It should go well over 40 miles.

10/20/2026 3:11pm My 2022 had about 76 hours on it, 1,200 miles. I never had any maintenance needs. It was totally bullet proof. I would wash it and hit the chain with WD-40 and think to myself, “Isn’t there something I need to work on?” Another thing I really like about the e-bike is how easy it is to ride on the...

10/20/2026 3:05pm It’s really fun to ride in the desert. But the e-bike race is only one 25 mile lap so only a little over an hour.

10/17/2026 7:21am The 2022 got about 25 miles of trail riding, The 2027 should get about 40 miles. We shall see.

10/17/2026 7:10am I have really liked the quality of KTM’s and have great dealer support from KTM of North Texas. I feel the KTM has a “real dirtbike” feel as compared to some of the bicycle types. As you can see in the pic, I beat every e-bike except the Starks at Biltwell this year. And, I’m 72 years old. 😎

10/16/2026 6:14pm New Freeride arrived today. I’ve had a 2022 and loved it. This new one has a better battery with 5.5 KWh instead of the 3.9 KWh in prior models. It also charges with 120 volts so that’s handy, especially when camping and a generator.

1/15/2025 7:31pm As someone who helped Ty while we was a privateer in the 23 season, I can tell you this.... He has never had a full off season healthy to train for SX, never. The 24 off season was his first to train for SX. It was also his first on PC. He struggled in SMX with tip overs while running strong top 5's. Was even leading Vegas but refused to triple a section that really cost him. As for East vs West for him. Ty is probably the best rut rider in the class, and East Region tracks are known...

1/15/2025 7:28pm I believe there are the same total number of races on each coast this year. I count 7 regional races for each coast and 3 Shootouts for a total of 10 races each. So, Ty would be shorted one race with the change. I’m not very good with numbers so I could be wrong.

Here's a book that will actually make you a "better" rider. Lots of very positive stories. Trey Canard wrote a really good review. It's available on Amazon or Authorhouse.

2/21/2015 9:12pm We'll see everyone in Daytona! Come by Ben's pit and ask for a copy of the new book MOTO'S CROSS! Maybe hang out in the way cool Nascar garages they let us pit out of? I must admit, ever since Ben was a little kid he has always been quite Husky!
