12/24/2022 4:07pm If you want to keep it cheap and simple (all relative), I've had great luck with my extended Chevy Express and a enclosed cargo trailer. For day trips, I just use the van itself. For overnight trips, I haul the trailer and put the bikes/gas/tools in the trailer. I can fit 2 queen size air mattresses in the van and an electric space heater. All of my wheel chocks are removable, which provides plenty of floor space. There are only a handful of times each year I take overnight trips, but it gets the job done for what I need.

12/22/2022 1:49pm I have an older van right now along with a company car to drive around town. I have gone back and forth on what I eventually would like to do. I think due to space in my driveway my long term goal is to get a travel trailer to tow behind the van. Seems like the ultimate setup for me. Can use the van on day trips and hook up the camper and go for overnights. We just got our first house this year so I have some time before I pull the trigger, but one day! Also, once you...

12/22/2022 1:44pm We literally just did the same thing. Got tired of towing a big toy hauler everywhere. Found a 2500 ram promaster that was basically fit out already. It's my wife and I as well as 2 dogs. We haul 2 full size bikes in it and can sleep in it without unloading the bikes. We don't have another bed but you can get the airbeds that go across the front seats. You would be surprised what you can fit. I have a toilet, sink, small oven, fridge, heat/ac, TV, instant hot water heater, outdoor shower, and have 60 gallons of...

12/22/2022 1:38pm So you're judging his Christianity because of a butt patch? If there's one thing I know to be true it's that those who are so proudly religious often are some of the most judgmental people on this planet....oh the irony. If you want "anti faith" talk banned on this forum then I also want pro-faith talk banned. I don't come here to have religious views shoved down my throat. If we are going to censor one thing lets censor them all....or you could just grow some thick skin and realize not everyone believes the same things you do. Nothing in...

12/13/2022 3:45pm Like others have said, lots of pros and cons. Currently I have a 2011 extended Express and its working well for me. I probably have 14k in it now after 3 years but its set up pretty nice now. To me, a decent truck which I don't need otherwise is 30k or so, plus you need a trailer and a place to keep it. I'm a sales rep so I drive a ton so I need a car with good fuel mileage so its always going to be a second vehicle for riding. I wanted to keep the cost down...
