This is a picture of my fully restored 1978 XR75 that I bought working all summer for my father. Way back in 1978. It was my first dirtbike I ever owned. I was able to get the bike back after 30 years of Not seeing it. Found it in a friends barn..it was in very bad shape. But he offered it to me for free and I took it back and fully restored it to the condition you see here. I will try to dig up a picture of it back in 1978 to post.

Some very cool XR's. Thanks for sharing the photos. Here is a photo of my XR, it's been a slow project, but it's finely get there.

On my '74. Won the NMA Championship at Rio Bravo in Houston on this bike in the 0-110cc Novice, got 5th in the 0-83cc Novice. Riding for Honda of McAllen. Gary Wise owned that shop. Steve Wise was my trainer. This shot is from Kingsville Texas in South Texas.

3/11/2013 2:43am I ended up with one of those, a 94 model.Traded a same year xr100 engine for it. it's equipped with a fmf pipe ,silencer, V force reeds, it runs, needs the once over. The plastic's and seat's a little chewed I call it the ufo yz cause to me all the mid 90's to present have that spaceship look. I'm...
