I am currently looking for one of these myself. Curious why you say to get a large if you normally wear a Med...do they run small? Sizing chart suggests they are true to size. I know this is an old post, but since I'm looking for the same thing...
How much with shipping to NC?
Thanks. I was actually finally able to get thru to George this afternoon. Great guy and talked my ear off for over a half hour...no wonder he's so hard to get a hold of! LOL
Thanks. I tried to reach out on FB and by phone with no response, so I thought I'd try here for some insight. Was everything on yours still Honda spec, like valve clearances?
So I just picked up a 2010 CRF450R. Its got a BPM racing engine in it. Runs strong and motor is very clean. Looks like it was done back in the spring of 2014. I am not a racer and have no intention of racing anything but maybe a hare scramble or two. ... more »

I know its been said that helmets can't prevent concussions, but 3 in the last year wearing an Arai is a little disturbing for those of us with the same lid.

KTM and Husky are making damn sure 2t's are not considered "old" technology. In fact, what is so high tech about a 4 stroke motor anyway? They've been around forever. Are you going to tell me FI and electric start are high tech? Well, KTM just put them ... more »

"I am not looking to be the next Dungey but I want to be able to ride a typical normal track without rolling any jumps and feel confident and safe while riding." ^^^^^ this is exactly how I feel and why I'm doing this.
Thats a good point and something I'm really concerned about with such a long lesson. As I mentioned, I took a lesson once previously and the first 20 minutes were spent accelerating and braking while standing. 15 min into it my legs were dead. Then we ... more »
what you say makes a lot of sense and I think that's the one true hurdle I face with all of this, is not wanting to learn what I and/or the bike can or can't do the hard way. Picking this up later in life is a scary thing with so much on the line if ... more »
I guess I'm more so looking for advice on what to do with this initial investment. Is 1 day of instruction better than spreading it out over multiple days? Is 1 day with a pro riding coach more valuable than multiple days with an advanced rider who also ... more »
So I'm not a new rider per se, I certainly have experience riding on 2 and 4 wheels in the dirt since I was a kid. However, at 37 years old, I have this itch to start racing. Something I've loved since I was a kid but never had the opportunity or guts ... more »

Agreed, I think RV would have had a longer career with more championships and we'd be calling him the best ever if he was able to back it down at times and aim for consistency, rather than ride on the ragged edge every week. Maybe it's not Tomac choking ... more »

I've sold quite a bit on CL, after a while you start to get a feel for who's serious or not, just by the way they communicate. I weed out kids this way too. I also don't do shit until they're sitting in my driveway. I won't meet anyone or any of that ... more »
I am interested in seeing what it does on my YZ125. I had previously put one on my YZ250f and it did help with stalling, but I didn't notice much on the power delivery. I've heard the 7oz. doesn't do much on the 125, so I am likely going with the 11oz. ... more »
I would definitely use racetech for the spring. They have a simple calculator to figure your rate and you can even find the one you need on ebay for a few bucks less sometimes. As far as valving goes, I've never used the gold personally or any valving ... more »
