So I took the bike to the track today for the first time I'm since rejecting to your specs. As I said previously 32.5 pilot was too small and would bog when I pull the throttle quickly. I went straight to the 37.5 pilot instead of the 35 as I didn't really want to have to reject at the track...

Ok so I bumped the pilot jet up to 35 and went in half a turn on the air screw. Gave the bike a quick rev on the stand as I cannot run the bike properly where I live in a block of flats 🙄. Hard to tell if the bog has completely gone away as the bike was nowhere...

So I just tested the bike for the first time and something isn't quite right. It bogs when I pull the throttle back quickly any ideas? I didn't change the float height could it need a bigger pilot?

Ok so second attempt at removing the needle jet. This time it came out very easy now that I was pushing it out from the right end😪 I have put the carb back on the bike and have given it a quick start but haven't ran it yet as I can't where I live. You said to start out on...

I've ridden one an added tooth or two to the rear and you're always shifting. ALWAYS! I felt like if anything stock gearing or dropping a tooth in the rear would have been better than having to down shift 2-3 gears going into a corner. Adding teeth front or rear or both will take away top end speed and give more low end pulling power, but will also shorten how long you can pull each gear.
