Deegan wants to be the 'bad boy' of moto. Let's see how the 450 riders and AMA deal with that. Will be fun to watch. Too many are over the top, though, with their hatred of the guy. DDS on display. He does make things more interesting for sure.

6/19/2026 4:03pm I mean its a disadvantage trying to learn it after you have already transitioned into the 450's. I think I said as much. I don't know of a rider that's made it work. I'm all for these guys coming over but the ones that make it work make the transition early and stay here.

Let me preface this by stating that I’m not a fan of the Deegan circus. That being said, if anyone is bummed out about getting smoked by Lucas while on holiday last weekend, it shouldn’t be the young guy who is 3 races into his 450 motocross career. It should be the multi-time world champion who was sitting next to him under the orange awning and riding the same bike last weekend.
