I’m forgot to mention.. imagine if Pastrana kept with racing instead of FMX. He would not look the same without the 199 . It’s his entire brand, literally!

this prolly a stupid question but why the riders can’t take a 3 digit perm # anymore 🤔 I do miss the ol days when I was in middle & high school looking at hanny & alessi rocking the 100 & 800 every race weekend

How was Mike Alessi able to run the # 800 for all those years? Hell he is still racing AMA Arenacross with # 800 in 2024!

I am so happy Kitchen is 47 for life! Or at least for now! I got one of his race worn jerseys! I figured Mitch Payton chose the number for him, because Hammaker had 47 for the 2022 pro motocross
These guys are professional racers. There needs to be money involved, If you only got 2 months off work per year, are you spending that time working for another company for free for “Pride” ??? No you are taking time off and recovering from your paying job. It would be different if MXON wasn’t every year. Shit.. Loretta’s feels more...

Hey, all! I refreshed the article about the boys, The Darkest Day in Motocross. We Went Fast went through a massive website overhaul and migration almost a year ago and older posts are a bit of a mess. This one is all fixed up now. Please share with a friend and keep their memories alive.

But that’s the difference. Men are not built today like they used to be. Back in the day we knew we weren’t being recorded. Boys could be boys. Men could be men. Nowadays these Dads KNOW they are MIC’d up and being recorded and they still can’t hold it together .

i have been saying that here, american motocross fans need to have a discussion about the youth racing system in america..... i always get a lot of heat back because i am considered anti-american....as if i was inventing stuff or there wasn't so many red flags......i got the feeling that no one wants to talk about it, like they know there is a weakness, but they choose to pretend its all good...... the thing is, if it all keeps being as it is, then those constant rumors about every fast kid from mx2 coming to america will get even more...

Two years ago I remember Deegan said he was racing B class “so he could win” . I wonder what the real A class would look like. How do they determine A vs B? Seems like a lot of sandbaggers

Loretta’s has turned into a full on money machine. Way too many B and C classes. It should just be the best 40 riders from each division. 2 day event. Also keep the focus on the future, last year the old famous veterans got more media coverage than the amateurs.

This series is an absolute cringe fest. Borderline child abuse . Reminds me of the kids MMA documentary they just did. The parents want it more than the kids.
It’s MX Sports own fault motocross isn’t more popular. Look how much goes into promoting the UFC. And that company / sport/ Sports league was created in 1993. Motocross and Supercross have a 20 year head start on MMA. I think there needs to be a Netflix documentary or something to introduce fans to the sport. I personally don’t know...

I can see that no penalties were assessed but my question is why? Why was that guy waving a Red Cross flag and why were people not penalized for jumping on it? If we’re in a situation where jumping the Red Cross flag is okay sometimes if you don’t see a downed rider then eventually you’ll have a situation where someone jumps on a Red Cross flag and lands on somebody that they didn’t see. All that said and I’m just a guy watching on tv so I’ll happily admit I don’t know shit. I’d just like some consistency, especially...
