1/27/2024 8:02pm After over 2 years, I finally finished my project. Started as a basket case '94 KX250, bike was literally built from a bare frame up. If the part is not new, it has been reconditioned to like-new condition (except fork seals). Engine just barely broken in, 3-4 heat cycles, only ridden around my block. Bike has '09-up plastic, subframe, airbox, seat etc. Below is a list of what's been done- ENGINE - engine cases, head and covers vapor blasted - clutch and stator cover Cerakoted bronze - stock crank with new ProX rod - cylinder sleeved with new wiseco piston...

4/15/2021 2:10pm Very cool! That swingarm!!! Mirror shine. How did you get the frame like that? Looks like original oem steel frame but no idea if that is a chrome based powder coat or paint. Looks sharp! What does your kit consist of? Standard KXF tank, sub-frame, airbox and seat plus hardware? Any available?

4/15/2021 2:06pm The frame and swingarm are actually chrome plated. This is a customer's 01 kx125 located in Canada. He said it was like $2000 dollars just to crome the frame and swingarm!!! But it does look absolutely amazing I just wish I could actually see that bike in person, all that chrome would have me in like a drooling stare 🤤 lol he did an amazing job with it. Yes you use the KXF subframe, gas tank, airbox, seat with my kit to achieve the look but its up to the customer to source those used parts. My kit is $100usd.

4/15/2021 1:53pm I make the kits. Grawesome Industries is what I call my company you can check my Facebook business page out and throw me a like if feel like it lol I dont know the exact number but I've probably sold somewhere around 50 kits worldwide. My kit uses the 12-15 kx450f/13-16 kx250f subframe, airbox, gas tank, seat and plastics. I do 2stroke AF conversions as well.

4/15/2021 3:11am Did check my bike out? Its a 99 kx250 with an 02 kx500 motor in it and I did restyle with the KXF parts. Not long after building this bike I was sort of talked into making a few kits which eventually turned in to selling about 50 of them world-wide

2/26/2021 12:30pm Uses subframe/airbox/tank and plastics from a newer 250f/450. Kit allows it all to bolt up. Made by a guy named Ryan Grawe. Just helped him get the components drawn up in cad actually

2/26/2021 1:33am I'm sorry but TX is a terrible company in my opinion and have the worst restyle kits that have the potential to blow up motors do to their cheap way of attaching plastics that are made for a completely different bike than the one they are going on which leaves open gaps around the airbox subjecting it to dirt, mud and water. Best way to do a restly is by using the actual KXF parts (subframe, airbox, gas tank, seat and plastics.) To achieve the look but yet retain a good sealed airbox.
