Final result could have been better (P15 out of 38), but the first lap was pretty good (would have been maybe better if I did better off the line...

3/7/2021 7:13am So we've been riding on ice and snow, sometimes it's too deep, but then it just gets to be a different kind of challenge... Let me know what you guys think of this 'substitute' for summer riding...

Yep, big pet peeve of mine. Lots of guys too lazy to remove them or cut them flush low to the ground, so they leave 6" punji sticks waiting to impale you. Moto is dangerous enough on its own without adding unnecessary man made death traps.

2/8/2021 6:50pm There is a near religious debate between Gripstuds vs Koldkuter screws. The tire above uses Gripstuds. The upside of Gripstuds is that they are larger and for trail riding you can get away with one per knob, downside is that their really wide screw-in portion does not easily allow for multiple screws per knob, plus they are EXPENSIVE... 12/16/2020 7:54pm Between the two, 690 all the way (and I'm saying that while really disliking KTM in general, gasp). DRZ is really, really old technology, heavy and you will get very tired of flooding the carb-ed bike from tip-overs on the trail. Then you will kill the battery impatiently starting the damn thing.
