bummmmmp due to the new 2017 crf450r with optional e-start the new lithium phos batteries are soooo lite. I debating on selling my bike to get the new crf450r. I'm curious if thoughts are still the same about having an e-start on a MX bike

Sounds like the cable is stretched. Need to check all adjustments, check service manual and measure specs/service tolerance, then go from there. Check for notches on the fingers of the clutch basket and inner hub as well
