4/23/2019 10:35am Just like everyone here, I'm a big kid getting ready to fully commit to an impulsive, yet satisfying decision. I was, and still am obsessed with the freedom that comes from riding, no cell phones, no computer screens, no text messages, just physical abuse, and pure adrenaline. I rode around the family farm growing up, and in my teen years...

3/15/2019 7:49am This is a funny topic, I was a Motocross nut when I was young, and at 17 had an injury that made me re-think my priorities. I got married at 19 and sold all the toys. Wife, kid on the way, mortgage, no life insurance, no living will & trust, you get the idea. At 25 I started my own...

3/8/2019 5:00am D14 has Vet Sport, and the 30+ class has three tiers ABC. Been a while but just looking at their website. I don't plan to compete until 2020. -Need to get in shape -Need to scout the racing scene D14 makes you start in a "C" class then earn points to advance, so for sure I'll be starting in the...

3/7/2019 8:02am LMAO, optical illusion, this is my work trailer, the triangle stand was just sitting there off the ground, and there was another tie down in front of the YZ. they made it home safe and sound.

3/5/2019 7:41pm Racetech spring already ordered based on their calcs initial setup will be 178 PSI in Air fork, and will swap out the stock 4.6KG spring rate for a 6.0KG in the rear, and set static and ride sag, and go tear it up. Wife's bike is at Enduro Engineering getting lowered for her. Traction control and mellow map, with lowered...

3/5/2019 11:55am Well, its a done deal. 2019 Bike it is not. 2018 KTM 450SX. -Bigger guys / slower guys like the 2018 frame better from the reviews -2018 air-box well known and popular -2018 bike just spoke to me. -The Bike just spoke to me. I could not get excited or comfortable on a KX or YZ. -KTM smooth power delivery...

3/4/2019 2:17pm I've got my pro / con spreadsheet established. Checked out the YZ today, and was really geeked about the ability to tune with smart phone. I failed to mention, I'm a car guy too, and I love HP tuner with my supercharged 09 Corvette. Very cool. Great feedback, if I were a gambling man, I would bet that I will...

3/3/2019 6:18pm I don't consider myself wealthy, but who knows. But yes, my wife and I have enough in our savings account to pay cash, and that's what I will be doing. but the last time I had a toy was when I was 18. I have a 2019 Silverado that I just paid cash for, but that was after paying 700.00/...

3/3/2019 3:07pm One more thing, I hear from a good friend that the big cc thumpers can benefit from a Rekluse Auto Clutch. I read about them online, and sounds like overall benefit of auto clutch can be realized. Any heavy riders, on any of these platforms that have a Rekluse testimonial?

3/3/2019 2:57pm Thanks for the .02c. I rode and plan to ride MX, Hair scrambles, single track trail, woods freestyle, ect. When I had my 250cc 2 stroke I rode 250cc MX, but also all of the above. When I got my 250cc 2 stroke GAS GAS, we were waiting for the crate to arrive, so I rode several MX and Hair...

3/3/2019 9:47am Thanks again Byke, I overlooked the 300 rear shock, and the Husky, is a great one to add to the mix. My dealer of choice is a KTM, Yamaha, and Kawasaki dealer, and I do like what I am hearing about the 19 KX 450 thanks Jbulz. Good news is this dealer is closed Sunday and Monday, so I have...

3/3/2019 8:59am Thanks Byke, any feedback regarding the air fork? I’m seeing mixed reviews and I think KTM is the only holdout. Grunt vs Rev, I’m leaning toward the KTM 450 with reviews of smooth low end power delivery. In the old days, a huge hit down low was fun but not very practical, would get me in trouble spinning while chasing...

3/3/2019 8:32am Thanks for the quick answers. Validation of my choice to go 450 is good. Regarding the maintenance KTM 450 how often do you expect to freshen up the top end, I used to re-ring the 2 stroke every 8-10 hours.
