7/14/2019 5:53pm How many hours do you guys usually go before you totally rewire your bikes start replacing electronics? Noticed some of the wires on my bike were looking a bit cracked, electrical tape on connections starting to peel up. No electrical problems or anything like that, mostly asking out curiosity.

8/20/2017 10:19am Kind of dumb but sometimes the forks can be slightly crooked on the axle. Try loosening the pinch bolts and work the forks up and down while the bike is on the ground. It happened to my kx 450 and the first 4 inches of travel were terrible.

6/24/2017 1:03pm Probably not the most helpful but I myself found my kx450f needed a bit more speed in lower gears to I went up 2 teeth in the rear. I know a lot of people have done that with their kx

5/31/2017 6:35pm interesting... my mechanic at the local shop recommended me that oil knowing it was for a competition style dirt bike. Ill have to ask him about that next time I go in there.

5/28/2017 9:40pm oil is castrol power 1 5w-40 full synthetic, also the clutch is the stock one with 50+ hours on it. just had a 2 hour enduro last week with heavy clutch abuse

5/28/2017 4:58pm Just pulled the clutch playes out, dont have a micrometer to measure the thickness of the fibres but the metal friction plate is yellow and black. looks pretty burned. Would this be enough clutch wear to warrant the problems im having. Major clutch slippage?

5/2/2017 6:31pm my tech 10's are going strong after 3 seasons, also rode some gaernes that lasted a long time. Any experience I have had with fox has been bad. Go gaerne or tech 10 just stay away from all white boots they are a bitch to clean and they fade rather quickly but thats just my opinion.

5/2/2017 6:21pm Bump, are forks exclusive to their respective stock model? For example could a yahama fork set fit the kawasaki, or is the wheel and axle measurements off? what is the measurement i should be looking for to see if the forks will fit the triple clamps? I would assume the diameter of the fork.

5/2/2017 1:03pm would the stock forks from 08-12 perform better or as good as a new set of aftermarket forks from a third party company? obviously a loaded question but in terms of performance how do they stack up against some of the better companies?
