About Me
Im David Wilson. I raced mx for many years until I figured out that I wasn't good enough to make a career out of it andwanted to stay in the industry. I went to MMI in 99 and then went to work at a local dealership, and help out local pro riders. Until I had the chance to work for Donnie McGourty in 03. I wroked with Donnie through the 04 Candain Nationals where he won the championship. I then went home to North Carolina to work on bikes at home. I then got the call to come back to Canada and work for NorCal (Jeff Northrop) in )05. After the Nationals were over I got the call from Kawasaki Team Green to be the east coast feild tech.. I left in Septmber of 07 and went back home to North Carolina and I am building bikes and waiting for the right careeer opp. to come along

I would use the PC valve springs also. It will help reduce the chances of valve float. Stock valve spring are rated for stock lift and rpm. PC valve springs and retainers are rated for their cam lifts and rpm

Has the governor had any modification? The bearings normally fly out of the governor for 2 reasons. The free length of the governor is out of spec, or The ramps have been modified and clearance is excessive. Pro Circuit use to build mod governors for their engines. I believe they just stiffer springs.

I would start with the head pipe gasket and check for cracks in the exhaust. If that doesn't seem to do anything check the slide on the carb. and make sure the two piece slide is inserted correct.
