I have had great luck with fox support. I tore both gators on the first pair of 1st gen instincts on my first moto of last year. Fox promptly replaced then with gen 2s and they clearly fixed the issues. Long time sidi rider but the toe box was better on the instincts....haven't turned back.

It should be noted that the fox runs the MIPS system....different from the Bell flex. I too went with the for v4 it just fit better than the rest. Shoei was close but I had the same hangup as the OP about it.

Be sure and try on the Bell for as long as reasonable. I really wanted to like it but the top of the liner is equipped with provisions for the eject device and caused a high pressure spot on the top of my head that was too much. I tried it without the blank and it was the same.

I think he showed more maturity in the main and interview then in practice, but who here bitching about the finger hasn't done the same in a less intense situation? Craig had a great ride and threw everything at him but he kept his head and didn't play dirty. Great response in the interview "it was fun"
