We did this to almost every connection we could easily get to, but we didn't grease them. Also tried other things like disconnecting the kill switch incase it was wet and made sure the airbox was dry. nothing worked Sad

Thanks for all the reply’s , I disconnected the kill switch and I thought it fixed the problem for a second then it went back to misfiring, and the air filter is dry along with the air box. And i really doubt it could be the tps

my 2011 KX250f misfires like crazy after washing it, definitely an spark/electrical issue. I didn’t power wash it, Plugged the exhaust too. And i’ve already cleaned/ blew out most electrical connections with air. Bike ran perfectly at the track earlier. Here’s a video of how it runs, it smokes a ton too which you cant see really in the video...

It sure could be a stator/eletrical problem. I did wash the bike before hand but i dried it off and started it up for 5 mins and she ran fine. so i don’t think i fried anything. I have a 01 kx125. do you think i could swap on the regulator/rectifier of that to the 250 and try it out?

Its Efi. It’s not burning coolant nor oil, compression is amazing, top end has maybe 5 hours on it. air filters brand new. timing is good too

Hi I recently bought a really really clean 2011 kx250f that was completely rebuilt by a mechanic. I took her to the track and it ran absolutely perfect and sounds awesome, but we had the common oil leak problem from the sparkplug weep hole on the right side of the cylinder so we took off the valve cover and put...
