Michigan's Denny Bentley finished 5th in the 1981 Daytona SX which was his first SX race after turning pro and only racing 2 MX nationals in summer 1980.. Think about it, that would be like a kid winning A class @ LL's last year then race last 2 nationals then getting 5th at Daytona this year in 450 class in only 3rd pro race and very first SX. Back on topic = Jeff Stanton didn't race 125 SX.

its on youtube. he lead the race twice! went over the bars, came back to lead, only to get a rock jammed in counter shaft sprocket. was faster than everyone that day.

need to do this on stock bikes. when that happens i think some lorettas level B riders could run the pace. and just young enough to hang it out.

tell that to larocco, kiedrowski or stanton. jeremy, like jett got the best bike at the right time of their carreer. jeremy was able to win on 3 bikes tho.

bike brands had a huge gap back then. put swink or larocco on the honda for those first 3 years and they each get a ton of wins. swink caught jeremy on the suzuki in one race and a lapper got in the way, those 93-96 suzukis were terrible. even albertyn said this. put mc on the suzuki and we...

Pastrana has the same amount of 250 wins as swink. swinkster was very close to beating mcgrath on one of the worst 250s made. career killer for him and larocco.
