I vote 82 RM465. My dad just got one and it runs really really good. I was totally suprised on how crisp it ran. Only thing I didnt like were the ergo's. Super fun bike.

My stock 2008 KTM 250SX w/ a 300 cylinder and heavy Flexx Bars weighed an honest 210# scale verified. Ready to ride, no fuel. Those bars were a 2# weight gain. I've ridden a lot of bikes beginning in 1977. I'd always heard how great the Maico 490 motor was but really doubted it. I mean how could an old chain driven primary, no power valve, cobby appearing, Bing carb'd motor really be any good at all, much less the "best". I can tell you it's absolutely amazing. Smooth yet amazingly fast, broad, you name it. It's the sh*t. Not sure how much it weighs, but it's an amazing motor.
