Rumors at the time were he wanted to wait on riding SX and that’s what the Teams really care about so Star moved on. He flies at red bud but let’s not get carried away. Let’s see if he can back it up. He also has been on 3 different teams in the last two years so maybe not the easiest to work with.

As others have mentioned the best way to handle any issues is through your local dealer, they can get you in contact with the area rep and/or any needed contacts for your issue. The direct customer service line is 1-855-215-6360 Other contact information can be found in the link below if you choose to submit with a web form. www.ktm.com/en-us/contact.html#customerservice KTM is one of the best in the business when it comes to warranty and making it right with the customer. I think the disconnect is just finding that correct service line and not calling the headquarters. Hope it helps!

I want to see these dealers succeed, but I’ve talked to quite a few guys who buy new bikes yearly who will not be going to the local dealer anymore over these fees. It’s not even so much about the money. It’s all about running an honorable business. I worry these businesses will lose a lot of their previous customers over these charges. It may not affect the dealer in the short term, but it will affect them in the long run because...

How is it 'taking advantage' when the dealers are getting way less units than normal and demand is super high? Hard to keep the lights on with half the sales as usual if you don't bump up pricing. What would you guys do if you were a dealer? I've been in several large dealers recently with less than 5 new units on the floor, doesn't take a rocket surgeon to realize that it's hard to pay the bills when you have nothing left to sell.

I work at a KTM dealer and see the invoices, the factory legitimately charges the $485 freight and the $400 is something that they charge us but "credit back" the dealership's parts account once a bike is sold. Different states have their caps on what the Documentation fee can be, the state I work in caps it at $85. The...
