BeefyMcWhatnow Added a reply to Brand new 250f is oddly slow?
3/12/2023 10:54am Accidentally left out -in 3rd gear-. Obviously it’s possible to hit a huge jump on a stock 250f

3/12/2023 10:52am I am at the track right now, I got your video already, but I’m not leaving for awhile. I brought up my skill level in the OP specifically to avoid people like you from claiming I’m just slow, I said it one time in passing, I’m not bragging about it, but I’m not gonna let some vet tell me I’m...

3/12/2023 10:23am He said what he said because your response was pretty stupid. Literally all I asked was help with a bike issue and for whatever reason my skill level and experience riding a dirt bike was challenged by like 5 people. He’s not wrong, this topic is really really stupid

3/12/2023 8:14am I didn’t post any videos of myself riding because like I already said I have none. I noticed the bike felt kinda slow off rip but the triple situation is what CONFIRMED to me that yes the bike is slow. Stop being so weird and patiently wait for your gopro video

3/12/2023 7:12am OP has returned specifically to reply to this Hello sir, I installed new clutch plates on Saturday and the bike works like a charm. I never posted here because I forgot to bring the gopro and didn't want to disappoint, but I am riding today again so I'll bring it specifically for you so you can sleep better at night...

3/9/2023 10:46am OP is back and OP would like to intervene. I probably should have mentioned this from the very start of the thread but I just chose to focus on the triple for the sake of simplicity. The bike has a general 'low on power' feel through the entire track. The bike is marketed as having tons of low end power...

3/8/2023 4:12pm After reading all of the replies I am leaning towards a slipping clutch.

3/8/2023 1:12pm I'm not letting this go. I need to understand what exactly you mean by what you're saying. I won't be able to sleep at night knowing this man is out there, terrorizing forums across the internet with vague and often confusing points and arguments.

3/8/2023 1:04pm Sorry for the double post, but again you are not understanding the topic at all. The topic isn't that I'm unable to hit a 50 foot jump on a stock 250f, the topic is that I'm unable to hit a 50 foot jump on a stock 250f that has some sort of issue causing power loss. Why can you not...

3/8/2023 1:01pm Not a chance in the world I interact with a man who claims to have jumped the fly 150 in 3rd gear on a stock 250f.

3/8/2023 12:27pm I'm not saying the stock bike is slow? I'm saying my bike specifically is slow due to some sort of issue. I have like 1 video of me riding and it's 15 seconds long

3/8/2023 12:03pm THANK YOU for the thought out response. I'll look into all of that. It's funny, when I first got the bike back home after buying it, I noticed the front brake rotor was definitely bent up, got a new one before riding. I use the twinair filter and the KN oil.

3/8/2023 11:26am Thank you. I was starting to think I was insane or something, like I said 15 times it's 100% the bike and I'm here to ask for possible known issues.

3/8/2023 11:07am I have the K&N oil and cleaner. Throw the filter in a bucket of hot water and cleaner, use my hands to scrub it clean, ring it out and hang it up to dry in my garage. Morning it's dry, spray on the filter oil till there's a light layer of pink on the whole face. Not too much oil...

3/8/2023 10:51am I did check that at the track and it seems fine. I do like the idea of the clutch maybe slipping or the timing chain slipping. 2 things I will look into.

3/8/2023 10:46am LACR. It's not a hard triple to clear at all, and it's been there for like 8 years. Again, I've hit this triple probably a thousand times in my life and it's never been an issue until I get this new bike.

3/8/2023 10:37am Dude can't read. 50 foot jump in 3rd or 4th gear is the ENTIRE reason this thread exists. I'm not out here bragging about how I hit this MASSIVE 50 foot jump, I'm asking why I can't hit the 50 foot jump. If you open your eyes you'd have read I brought a kx250f to the same track and hit...

3/8/2023 10:31am The jump isn't even big, it's just very steep and tall. It's probably like only 50 feet long distance wise. My point is the bike is losing power somehow and I'm trying to get some guys with knowledge to shoot off some possible issues. I'm not asking you guys to solve my issue, I'm just looking for places to start...
