It is a sad situation. It's sad that lil Deegan will now be labeled a cheater because of his dad's stupid actions but why would you say that the dad who protested is a jealous goof? His kid usually kicks butt with top podium finishes so I'm sure he's not jealous or envious of any other mini race teams imo.

I agree with getting them comfortable on a pedal bike first. My 3yo is learning how to jump his bicycle before mx...........well kinda anyway lol.

Hey I'm in the same situation. My son is 3 and rides a CRF/XR50 but he can't solidly touch the ground without training wheels as of yet. He actually has developed into a pretty solid rider for 3 and is begging me to ditch the training wheels so I'm now looking for a PW50 since it is a bit shorter...
