Am I the only one that thinks the ghost riding thing is not that big of a deal? I mean over the years we’ve seen, or heard of, many riders doing things like this when losing their temper. Kicking bikes over, breaking shit,…..there’s any number of similar examples. Is it an incident that the team needs to address? Of course. Is it worthy of ten pages of outrage? That seems a little over dramatic to me.

I don't think it's a good bike. Regardless of what you think of Jorge or how he handled things, purely from an ability/ego pov imagine being him in 2025. You're the world champ, you're racing in front of thousands of fans (with many more overseas keen to see how well you'll do). The media interviewing you in the build up etc. Then at Rd 1 (and many other rounds after) you're in the region of 1:30 - 1:40 secs etc back... Without a crash... There is something wrong there. I remember reading a comment (maybe on this forum) that the poster said “ he knew some vet pros and none of them liked the kawi. When pushed at that level it didn’t handle well.” But lots of average riders like the handling. Frame flex, geometry, or both? Fahie did say they added bracing to the frame and swingarm around...

In one day of setup the PC guys had Chase going 22nd to 4th at San Diego, and a win the following weekend. Then Fahie put their suspension back on with supposedly comparable settings. I say let PC work with Chase a week or two.

If they are going to make whoops basically jumpers then screw SX and let’s just do outdoors. Whoops are SX. One of the biggest reason MXGP riders have a hard time coming over and doing great right off. 9 built so they end up jumpers is BS. It’s a three jump rhythm section that is sharp and adds bad injury risk. Many more injuries that more properly built/maintained whoops or even the dreaded dragon’s back.
