The question mark was used to indicate my confusion onto why you would give unneeded advice after a situation already occurred. As far as adding (more) unsolicited advice for me, again, I'm confused. You never offered me any advice(???????) You being a grammar nazi and acting more intelligent than what you really are (I) applaud you, sir. Sorry about the confusion...

I don't really think he's asking for life advice at this point? I understand the gravity of your response but I think if he was looking for a father figure he wouldn't be asking you... Lesson learned, I guess. I'll be tossing a couple extra bucks your way.

My 17 ktm's (stock) sprocket bolts were junk. They were loose after pretty much every ride. I do love the bike and the forks though

So I've finally decided it's time. My dad had a 1978 Yamaha DT250 on/off road he commuted on back and forth to high school. After having me back in 88' he parked her. God knows it's going to be a project but I have nothing but time. I'm going to semi convert it into just a off-road bike. (Knobbies, bypass...

Get a 150sx and skip the "mods." Saying the old style kyb suspension is superior is also a bit of a joke.... imo... coming from a 13 yz450f. The carbs are a bit finnicky at first but when it's dialed in you're riding a much more advanced 2 stroke. Take a look at how much the new ktms weigh vs...

I understand that! Yeah I didn't actually take my spring off I just popped the linkage. I wasn't positive what kind of a crutial role the clip played and I didn't want to reassemble it wrong

Yeah....basically I only took my power valve loose enough to get to the head stud bolt. And to actually pull the head off. So (of what I remember) there were #1#2#3 involved.. however I "thought" there was another washer behind #3 if that's not the case than I'm good... is that how you set up your spring? Only reason I...

Hey Joe. I'm in the same boat, I should be able to answer your question tomorrow after I talk to my mechanic. Out of curiosity are the washers on both sides of the spring the same? You mind taking a picture of them? I'm pretty sure they are but unfortunately I can't find anything telling me exactly what it is....Unsure

So after rebuilding my bike I ran into the slightest issue. I had everything stowed away but my monster dog decided to eat my outside washer of my powervalve assembly. I have a 2017 Ktm 150sx I the outside washers seem universal but any input would be appreciated. Also with that being said does the clip position matter. I have...
