Ktm power valve question

So after rebuilding my bike I ran into the slightest issue. I had everything stowed away but my monster dog decided to eat my outside washer of my powervalve assembly. I have a 2017 Ktm 150sx I the outside washers seem universal but any input would be appreciated. Also with that being said does the clip position matter. I have a picture (below) of the assembly when it was on the bike. Basically I'm just trying to find the right outside washer I have the clip and the inside washer still.

Andy, pull up Jeff Slavens web site, he has some nice instructional videos on Ktm 2 strokes. I just did my Xc 300 top end & serviced the power valve assy. The 2 washers that the spring goes between should be cupped to center the spring, this is a photo of my 300 if it helps......I always take photos with phone before I tear something apart....

Hey guys, I'm doing a top end on my 16 KTM 125 and when I pulled the assemble apart I forgot to look which way the spring goes on. Do I want pressure pushing it down or up? I should have taken a photo, but I didn't. Hope someone can come to the rescue.

Hey Joe. I'm in the same boat, I should be able to answer your question tomorrow after I talk to my mechanic. Out of curiosity are the washers on both sides of the spring the same? You mind taking a picture of them? I'm pretty sure they are but unfortunately I can't find anything telling me exactly what it is....Unsure

Hey so the 2 washers are different as you can see in this diagram. Sorry I already had my bike back together before I saw your post. You are looking for #2 and #5?

Yeah....basically I only took my power valve loose enough to get to the head stud bolt. And to actually pull the head off. So (of what I remember) there were #1#2#3 involved.. however I "thought" there was another washer behind #3 if that's not the case than I'm good... is that how you set up your spring? Only reason I ask is because I know the 16-17 are a little different than the one pictured above. Again you're the man I appreciate you answering my questions. It's a silly mistake on my part

Yeah the 16 and 17 are a different PV set up but the spring goes back the same as in the video. I replaced my piston, cleaned the entire PV setup and she's a runner! Road on the street and felt the PV engage.

I learned for next time to just pull the clip off and pop the linkage instead of dealing with the spring.

I understand that! Yeah I didn't actually take my spring off I just popped the linkage. I wasn't positive what kind of a crutial role the clip played and I didn't want to reassemble it wrong
