Whew, eventful weekend. 5.5hr road trip to deliver my latest project. Built for really good friends, and they hadn't seen it until I set it up. They loved it. She immediately sent photos out to friends. So now it's grown into matching bedside tables. Then today made two side trips, on my way home, to Hickory and Asheville N.C. to talk to their friends about building items for them !! Crazy how one project can spiderweb into multiple projects for old friends, and now, new friends. I kind of want to be semi retired, but if people want to pay...

Two vacation trips interrupted progress on this dresser project. Brazilian redwood with maple inlays, and maple top. Drawer face inlays set a 1/4" proud for a slight 3D look. Top three drawers have dividers as requested.

It’s another scheme that will ultimate end up being used to suck money out of middle class Americans. we hear about the big crimes that flock has prevented but those are just to make it more palatable when you start getting citations in the mail for dumb bullshit. Going 5 over on an empty highway? They know where you live, what you drive, and what you look like. Rolling stops, failure to signal, parking in a loading zone for 45 seconds longer than the sign says—you’ll be getting cited for all of it. It’s like red light cameras for everything...
