97#278 Started a new thread Why did you quit racing MX?
1/27/2012 8:07pm I quit in 97 after I moved to the Seattle area. Basically it was just no place to ride - I actually made way more money after I moved here so that wasn't an issue as it so often is in this sport.. I came from WNY where I knew just about everyone and always could find a friends house...

97#278 Started a new thread national #'s - late 90's
1/24/2012 8:55am Does anyone know a link to find old national #'s? I had a 3 digit back in "97 and want to show my kid somehow. I still have the badge or whatever it is called, but you know kids nowadays, they won't believe it unless it is on the web. And I realize this is the equal of Al Bundy...

10/30/2011 11:35pm Because sometimes life throws you curveballs you can't hit, you love the sport and would love to race, but it might not be feasible. It doesnt mean we love MX any less...If I could figure out how I would be on the gate every weekend,

10/30/2011 7:48pm As soon as I quit I started riding BMX bikes, trails, parks, street etc. I agree on the simplicity and the convenience of it - like skateboarding. Good times although I blew out both knees separately, loved riding at the South Woods Trails (RIP) almost daily. Good bunch of guys and a great time. Someday I hope to get back...

9/1/2011 7:13pm totally sucks. If they had an "x" to click I could live with it. And it's just suggesting more artilcles , I'm sure 99% of us read every single one already, it would almost make sense if it were paid advertising because hell, everone needs income

8/31/2011 9:11pm IN 1996 I raced in western new yprk sports committee. I would sit on the gate and already know what place I was going to get out of the 7 125 experts on the gate ( I earned # 7 expert that year). But it was better than racing for trophies and I made a grand total of 900 bucks...
