No way he’ll switch even if he does like it. They don’t have enough race parts etc. No reason to push it when he’s comfortable on the current bike after working hard to get that way.

A guy replied to a MXA I️nstagram post re the new KX saying he bought one on Sat. When you go to his Instagram account he has a pic of it in the back of his truck. They are available.

Everything I️’ve read or watched has been a rave review. I’d bet Eli can’t wait for the race bike to be ready.

Not sure what you mean by “worst bikes”. For many years the KX450F was ranked best in shootouts. The RMZ and KX haven’t ranked in the top in recent years but that doesn’t mean either is bad by any means. All the bikes are great and offer more than most riders can get out of them.

I️ noticed they dropped the “F” from the 450 butt haven’t seen the ‘19 250 yet.

Believe dry weight was 231lbs for ‘18 and the new one is 232.4lbs.

Impressed with the weight. They added electronic start, hydraulic clutch and spring forks but only gained 1.4 lbs.

Damn, it checks a ton of boxes. Looks ok too. Can’t wait for ride reports.

The shroud graphics look like this but say “KX” instead of “Team Green”.

The point is this. If you’ve gone to all the trouble and expense to develop the latest/greatest bike, why not make those $3 stickers look better (and I’d bet they’re molded into the plastic).

I️ know the bike was legit. I️ just hope the graphics were not. No way Kawi would release a new bike that looked like elementary school kids did the graphics.
