So I wasn’t paying close attention while listening to the pod so forgive me if covered. Did they get a letter or something saying they were breaking the law? Did US government say something or did each state for some reason all of sudden question them? Did they just decide to check into the legality of their game? Did a disgruntled person turn them in?

I want to downvote this because that is fawking insane.... And thumbs up for you sharing this at the same time :D I was going to get tickets for that race today, but this has me thinking twice. Not because I am cheap, but purely out of principle. Paying $80 in fees for two tickets is f'd up no matter how bad you want to go.

Just remembered we watched practice from somewhere around Section 107. Here is that view. From what I read before going, people recommended higher up in the lower bowl, or club level seating. I thought it was a little hard to see the entire track from the upper part of the lower bowl. But figured a few pictures might help.

This was my view from Section 241 Row B. The 200s section is club level seating. I thought it was close enough, while also being high enough to see the entire track. That was my first SX race so I can’t speak for other sections.

Have you been on this site lately? Protecting your property with guns is often discussed on this forum and the trespasser or thief is generally not the one being felt sorry for. I'm not saying that's my opinion, but there are plenty examples - go look at any "what insurance should I get?" thread. I'm not sure what happened in the story above but it looks like there are trails surrounding it, a track even directly to the East.

10/5/2023 8:25am Ya, it's a shame. I bit the bullet because we had already decided to go and make a Nashville trip out of it. The fees on a $65 A1 ticket seem downright fair at $17 per ticket by comparison. And it seems to not be a Feld thing, but a NFL thing. I wonder if that will influence future schedules?
